When Will Timeline Be Mandatory For Everyone?

Although Facebook's new Timeline layout was supposed to mandatory in January 2012, i've notice that some people are still using the old layout despite Timeline was supposed to be mandatory for everyone in January.

I don't get why people are so against the new timeline it is quite very easy to use, and a whole lot better than the old layouts. Of course you'll have to get use it eventually once Facebook changes your layout to the Timeline layout.

Update: Facebook has already made the new timeline layout of pages mandatory, so why is it taking so like to make the timeline mandatory for your profile?
