Microsoft needs to realize that an one fit for all approach Is not going to fit for everyone of course they're are going to be people who like Microsoft Edge and or Internet Explorer and yet there
are other people who like other browsers like Chrome or Firefox or even third party lesser known browsers like Cent Browser and Torch Browser.
Microsoft should stop pushing their
browsers on people who don't want to use their browsers either they
don't fit their browsers or they freeze up a lot.
I for one like the Cortana search feature
but with the latest updates the Cortana searches are directed to Bing
when most people would rather search Google. Simple fact is Microsoft
should not be forcing either their browsers or search engine us.
I've recently came up with another
issue i'm having with Windows 10 after the last update to 14.494.105
which is one of my browsers Is now giving me the “awe snap” error
and won't even let me do anything on it and also sometimes Windows
will automatically uninstall a program that I want on my computer and
then when I try to download it again Windows blocks the program.
Windows is becoming too aggressive its
just getting ridiculous. Windows 10 is a good operating system but
Microsoft needs lighten up a little bit and gives us more freedom to
use whatever program we want.
As I said at the start of this article
a one fit for all is not going fit for everyone. Everyone likes to
personalize their on computers whether it be the default browser,
search provider or even programs they like to use on their computer.
For example for me I like to do a lot
of research in different languages so I have a browser for each
languages and one day I found out one of my browsers was completely
uninstalled which I did not uninstall it. Windows uninstalled it by
itself, and another browser I have used before is snow giving me the
“awe snap” error on both my laptop and desktop computers.
Back in the early stages of Windows 10
we used to be able to add a chrome extension called Bing2Google that
would automatically redirect bing searches generated by Cortana to
Google but now Windows has prevent extensions like those from working
now and whenever you do a Cortana search Edge opens even if you have
a different browser set as the default browser for example like
Chrome.
I hope Microsoft realize soon rather
than later although its their operating system they should not have
complete control over it and let people personalize their own
computers. They need to give us the freedom to use our computers the
way we want to and not have something forced on us that we don't want
or like.
This is plain common sense that
Microsoft should realize.
